Greetings.

As many of you may already know, we recently announced some news regarding the future of Demon Hunter at our Huntour shows.

Firstly, we would like to officially announce some lineup changes that we've recently undergone and will undergo in the coming months. My brother, Don, whom I started this band with in 2001, has decided to leave the band due to increasing priorities with both his home life (not least of which are his two amazing kids, my niece and nephew), and his constant workload with the design firm that he and I continue to undertake together, Invisible Creature. I'm saddened to see Don leave, as we have shared so many great times together in the band, written some amazing songs together, played in bands together since we were teenagers, and built every aspect of this band from the beginning with a shared vision. However, Don's decision to move on comes with a deep understanding on my part. As he told me recently, he will continue to be "Demon Hunter's biggest fan," as he continues to watch the band progress.

We, as a band, and more specifically I, would like to give Don my most heartfelt "thank you" for everything he has contributed to this band from day one. We are forever grateful for the passion, vision, artistry and talent that you brought this band. You will be missed. We love you, and wish you the very best with every future endeavor.

Additionally, Ethan Luck, who has been with Demon Hunter since The Triptych (2005) has also decided to leave the band as his responsibilities with Relient K (in which he plays drums) continue to escalate. Ethan played a very essential role in recording and performing on both The Triptych and Storm The Gates Of Hell, and his professionalism and friendship are a vital part of what Demon Hunter has become over the last 4 years.

We would like to thank Ethan for all of his hard work, dedication and friendship. His contribution, in both craft and spirit have helped us become who we are as a band. We also wish Ethan all the best with whatever may lie ahead.

Patrick Judge, who filled in for Ethan during the Stronger Than Hell Tour is now an official member of Demon Hunter. We are very pleased to welcome Patrick into the fold. His skill, devotion and drive have already proven to be instrumental in the continual evolution of the band and we're excited to see what the future holds with his inclusion.

Last, but not least, we have been busy working on material for our 5th album, which we will be entering the studio to record in October. At this point, I would say about 90% of the music has been written, and probably about 40% of the lyrics/melodies. As cliché as it can be to say, the album is shaping up to be heavier, faster, and more aggressive than previous Demon Hunter material (and there might be a ballad or two in there for good measure). As always, we're doing our best to maintain the classic DH sound, all while introducing some new and exciting ideas to keep things exciting. I'm extremely proud of what we have so far, and I can't wait to enter the studio and hear it come to life!

Stay tuned in the coming months for additional news regarding the new album!

Thank you, everyone, for your continued support.

-Ryan Clark & Demon Hunter

DEMON HUNTER'S 3-DISC "45 DAYS" SET FOR NOVEMBER 24
Two DVD / 1 CD Set Chronicles Band's Intense Connection With Fans

Demon Hunter is set to unveil their brand new 3-disc release, "45 Days." Due in stores November 25 and comprised of two DVDs and 1 CD, "45 Days" documents the band's tour in support of last year's "Storm the Gates of Hell" as well as the band's intense connection with their fans, with many stories directly from the "hunters" themselves.

"The stories they've told us have inspired many of our songs and in turn I believe many of our songs connect with our fans in a very personal way," explains Demon Hunter vocalist and co-founder Ryan Clark. "We communicate with our fans as much as we possibly can which allows us to better understand them. We see them as friends. And we learn from each other. Some of the stories that we've received from them are so intense, so heartfelt, that we wanted to document them and share them with the rest of the world. Our fans are truly the lifeblood of the band."

In addition to being the founders and creative force behind Demon Hunter, Ryan and his brother, guitarist Don Clark, are the Grammy nominated designers behind Invisible Creature. The firm has handled CD packaging and assorted artwork for a number of clients, including Foo Fighters, Chris Cornell, Machine Head, Throwdown and Korn.

The Clarks applied that same meticulous attention to detail and aesthetic mastery to Demon Hunter's "45 Days," as they do with all of their releases. The "45 Days" documentary itself, found on disc 1, owes more to the Oasis film "Lord Don't Slow Me Down" and Sigur Ros' "Heima" than the typical band documentary. Filmed during this past summer's "Stronger Than Hell Tour," "45 Days" is rich and cinematic in scope. The film was entirely shot and edited by Cale Glendening -- an up-and-coming director from Tulsa, Oklahoma whom the Clarks stumbled upon online.

"We came across a simple video diary that Cale shot for a band, and we could just tell that he had an eye for it," Ryan remembers. "He takes amazing photographs, his video footage is very artistic and beautiful, and he just knows how to put things together. The documentary is less like a standard music documentary and more of an artistic endeavor."

The movie follows the band on tour and is interspersed with stories from fans, including a soldier recently returned from the Middle East; a mother, fiance and best friend in grief and more. "The documentary highlights the lives of our fans just as much as our lives. It's not just a band on the road. It's way deeper and more emotional than that."

Disc 2 is a full live set captured during the tour from several angles in Nashville, Tennessee, with pro-audio produced and mixed by JR McNeely (Underoath, MxPx). Disc 3, the audio CD portion, contains the original film's instrumental score written exclusively for the movie and produced by the band's longtime producer Aaron Sprinkle (Emery, The Almost). The disc also includes an acoustic version of "Fading Away" and a piano version of "Carry Me Down."

The packaging is as outstanding as what the band's fans have come to expect and easily sits alongside any of the packages both Clarks have earned Grammy nominations for over the last few years. "We wanted nothing but the best. This is a 3 disc set, so we have it packaged in a 3 disc digi-pack with a 20 page booklet," Ryan says enthusiastically. "The packaging is full of amazing photos, shot by Cale, from throughout the tour, and the vibe of the package is intended to fit the vibe of the documentary and soundtrack."

"45 Days" is scheduled for a November 25, 2008 release through Solid State.

Demon Hunter is very sorry to report that we will be unable to perform at The Norva in Norfolk, Virginia and Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, North Carolina on June 24 and June 25, respectively. THE SHOWS ARE NOT CANCELLED! All of the support bands -- Living Sacrifice, Oh Sleeper, The Famine and Avent -- will perform as scheduled.

However, Demon Hunter will be forced to sit these two shows out as our singer, Ryan Clark, has fallen ill. He got sick yesterday but soldiered on with the show last night. Now he voice is gone and he must rest and recuperate to get it back. Demon Hunter WILL resume the Stronger Than Hell Tour on Thursday at Rockettown in Nashville, Tennessee.

If you would like a full refund in Virginia or North Carolina you may obtain one at point of purchase. However, we strongly encourage you to head out to the shows and catch all of the amazing bands who are on tour with us.

The Cat's Cradle will be offering a 5 dollar discount to anyone who purchased advance tickets for the show that still wishes to attend. If you were planning on purchasing tickets at the door, they are now $12.

Thanks for your understanding!

Many of you may already know this, but when Don and I are not touring or recording with Demon Hunter, we’re designing. We have a studio in Seattle called Invisible Creature and we specialize in print design, mostly for the music industry. You know… CD packages, posters, t-shirts, advertisements… anything and everything in that world. We love what we do and much of the time, we’re allowed to do what we love.
But that all depends. Read more..

DEMON HUNTER ANNOUNCES "STRONGER THAN HELL TOUR"
With Newly Reunited Living Sacrifice As Special Guests

Demon Hunter will launch their "Stronger Than Hell Tour" this summer in support of the band's brand new album for Solid State Records, Storm The Gates Of Hell.

"The Stronger Than Hell Tour will definitely be an amazing experience for everyone involved," said singer Ryan Clark, who co-founded Demon Hunter with his guitarist brother Don shortly before the release of their self-titled debut album in 2002. "We can't wait to play some new material and get to know more of our amazing fans."

"I can't tell you how excited we are to get back out there on the road and play some new songs along with the crowd favorites," added Don, who recently attended the 2008 Grammy Awards as a nominee in the graphic design / packaging category (Ryan Clark was nominated last year and the year before).
The Stronger Than Hell Tour will feature special guest Living Sacrifice, the legendary metal band whose alumnus went on to join bands like Evanescence and P.O.D.. This will be their first tour since reuniting.
The tour lineup is rounded out by Demon Hunter's labelmates in Oh, Sleeper as well as The Famine (featuring former Demon Hunter guitarist Chris McCaddon) and North Carolina's Advent.
"The members of Demon Hunter are ecstatic about the lineup," said Ryan Clark. "It features many of our old friends in both reunited and amazing new bands. For us, it's a bit of a family reunion."
Demon Hunter recently completed a video for "Carry Me Down," the second single from Storm The Gates Of Hell. The group was named one of "10 Artists to Watch" by AOL Music and featured on the cover of Revolver for their 2006 "Christian Metal" story. Demon Hunter's fans are some of the most dedicated in heavy metal. Check out their MySpace page to see the Demon Hunter logo tattoos that adorn many of their bodies.
Demon Hunter's first album was released in 2002 and remains a classic to the group's loyal "Hunters." Summer Of Darkness arrived in 2004, bringing with it fan beloved songs like "Not Ready To Die" and "My Heartstrings Come Undone." The Triptych followed just a year later and has sold over 100,000 copies in the United States, featuring the MTV2 Headbanger's Ball staples "Undying" and "One Thousand Apologies."
Don and Ryan Clark are also the founders of Invisible Creature design studio, working on projects for a diverse group of clients including Foo Fighters, Korn, Chris Cornell, Bleeding Through, Throwdown and more. The Clarks have been nominated at the Grammys the last three years consecutively for their design work.

Hello Hunters! Did you figure out the clues on this page, our MySpace page, and our Trig site? Here's another BIG clue about one of the bands we'll be taking on tour: open a Bible to Romans 12:1.

Tired of the clues? We wanted to let you know that we have revealed the ENTIRE lineup for Demon Hunter's summer tour to our fan community, The Blessed Resistance. Not a member? Don't worry, we'll let everyone else know later this month. But if you are a TBR member, log-in to the TBR site and check out the new video message from Ryan, Don & Jon. There's also a demo version of the song "Storm the Gates of Hell" and some cool exclusive merchandise in there.

And speaking of videos, we're finalizing plans for the new "Carry Me Down" music video with Solid State right now, so stay tuned! We can't wait for you guys to see it!

It's an exciting time for Demon Hunter! Thanks for all of the support!

Out of many great art/ packages he did this year (Foo Fighters, Chris Cornell, Korn - the list goes on), the Grammy voters chose his package for the band The Fold and their album, Secrets Keep You Sick.
